Ms. Monica Mwove is the is the current Vice Chairperson to the Board and the Chairperson, Business Development and Education Committee.

She currently serves as a Programme Management staff at UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and has over 15 years’ worth of experience in programme and management.

She holds an Maters of Business Administration in Strategic and Operations Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Sociology, both from University of Nairobi.

Mr. Bonface Iregi  is the current Treasurer and the Chairperson Finance and Administration Committee.

He  has over 20 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

He is dedicated to utilizing his expertise to drive innovation and uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability within the UN SACCO. His commitment is to rebuild trust and confidence
among UN SACCO members by ensuring transparent decision-making and clear communication regarding policies, procedures, and any changes affecting the SACCO. He believes in fostering active member participation in meetings and decision-making processes, ensuring that every voice is heard and considered.

Ms. Salome Wanjohi is the current Hon. Secretary to the UN SACCO board.

She is currently working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and has over 15 years’ worth of experience working with International Organizations.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture And Technology (JKUAT).

Mr. Julius Kipkoech is the is the current Chairperson Credit Committee.

He is an ICT professional with over 13 years’ worth of experience in the ICT field. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kenyatta University, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), with additional certifications in Microsoft, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management. He is a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Institute of Directors -Kenya Chapter (IOD-K) and a Certified RBA Trustee in a Provident Scheme.

He has previously served as a Treasurer and Vice Chairperson to the UN SACCO Board.

Mr. Gabriel Wanga is the current Chairperson Audit and Risk Committee

He is currently the Accounts Payable Process Owner at United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) and has over 40 years accounting experience within the Big-5 Accounting Firms, in the commercial sector and in the United Nations in the International Civil Service.

He has previously served as a Director and Treasurer of UN SACCO Board.

He is an Alumni of The School of Accountancy, Strathmore University. He is a Certified RBA Trustee in a Provident Scheme and an active member of the United Nations Local Salary Survey Committee (UNON LSSC) having been appointed in 2003.

Mr. Stanely Alwodi is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP-K) currently working with the UN Volunteers office (UNV).

He holds a Masters Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration from the United States International University-Africa (USIU).

Mr. Charles Wambua, the current Secretary of the Supervisory Committee.

He is a Budget Specialist with United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) where he has overseen complex and large budgets.

He is a CPA (K), Member of ICPAK and holds Bachelor in Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Finance and MSc. Finance Degrees. He is experienced in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management and Investments. He has research interests in Systematic Risk, Financial Markets Efficiency and Financial Assets Pricing as well as Public Policy Analysis.

He  has previously served as a Director and Chair of the Supervisory Committee UN SACCO Board.

Mr. Dan Otwabe is the current Member of the Supervisory Committee.

He currently serve as Area Financial Controller at Carrefour Kenya, with prior senior finance leadership roles at Noubru Holding Group (Cameroon), Hashi Energy (DR Congo), Flemingo International (Burundi & Rwanda), Kenya Airways and Chloride Exide.

He holds a a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance and Accounting from Strathmore University, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K), and a Certified Data Analyst (Power BI, Python, SQL, Financial Models & Tableau) thereby bringing a rare blend of governance discipline and data‑driven insight.

Moses Amolo is the current Head of Credit at United Nations Deposit Taking Sacco. He has a wealth of experience in various sectors including Corporate, Retail and SME banking in the lending sector.

Moses holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing CCP (Certified Credit Professional) certification from KASNEB and CSA certification from Omega Performance.

He is instrumental in growing and strengthening UN DT SACCO’s lending portfolio, having had wide working experience in the Banking Industry.

Silas Alumasa is the current Head of Operations at United Nations Deposit Taking Sacco. He has a wealth of experience in relationship and operations management and has wide professional experience having previously served as a Relationship Manager, Credit Administrator and Credit Officer in the banking sector.

Silas holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from Kenyatta University. He is instrumental in driving the customer experience and Relationship Management at UN DT SACCO.

Joseph Muraguri is the current Head of Audit, Risk and Compliance at United Nations Deposit Taking Sacco. He has over 14 years’ experience in Audit, Risk Management, Finance, Credit, and Investments. He has a wealth of professional experience having worked in various sectors such as SACCO’s, Banking and Investments.

CPA Joseph holds a Master of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi alongside other professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Forensic Investigation Professional (CFIP) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Secure Computer User (C/SCU) and ISO 22301 Lead Implementer.

He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP).

He is instrumental in steering UN DT SACCO’s vision of improving operational efficiency, governance, risk management and internal control systems.

James Mwaniki is the current head of ICT at United Nations Deposit Taking Sacco. He has over 13 years’ worth of experience in the financial sector.

He is an experienced Information Technology Professional with vast experience working with reputable global organizations in financial services both in banking and insurance.

James holds a BSc. In Computer Technology from JKUAT, a Certificate in Aspire Leadership Development from Strathmore Business School and is currently finalizing his MSc. in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi. He holds several industry certifications in Enterprise Data Management & Administration, a CISCO Certified Network Associate, an Oracle 11g administrator, an ITIL Foundation, and a Privilege Access Management.

He is instrumental in steering the ICT growth at UN DT SACCO.

CPA Diana Rotich is the current Head of Finance, Investment and Corporate Planning Officer of United Nations Deposit Taking Sacco. Diana has 15 years wealth of experience in Accounting and Finance.

CPA Dianah is a qualified accountant (CPA-K) and a member of ICPAK. She holds a Bachelor’s’ Degree Commerce from Egerton University.

She has previously worked in several organizations including Financial and Credit Institutions and has served as Financial Accountant at UN SACCO. She is instrumental in steering the financial growth at UN SACCO.
